Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A consultation is always the first step for me especially if I've never serviced the client before but I consult every client even my regulars.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take plenty of education/training of all kinds pertaining to my line of business in the beauty industry.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Yes I believe I do. Here's some just to name a few.
*Shampoo Blow-Dry $40 & up
*Press & Curl $60 & up
*Roller Set $35 & up
*Relaxer (including ends trim) $65
*Virgin Relaxer(including ends trim) $75
How did you get started in this business?
I was always interested in doing hair and nails when I was younger which lead into my adult life but after my job ended as a Supervisor at a clothing store I decided to go to school to get my license for something I was already interested in and passionate about. After I graduated from Cosmetology College I went back to get my instructors license to teach Cosmetology.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with them all.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
SICKLE CELL is one of my biggest but I really love doing salon services for women shelters, seniors and people who are less fortunate to treat themselves to a salon service.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you're looking for everything that the professional provides that you want, ask them the questions you want answers to. If they're not a fit for you by the questions you asked then don't sit in their chair just because they have a license because everyone isn't professional that has a license.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
*What are your prices?
*Do the professional provide the service that the client is seeking?
*Do you take checks or credit cards?
*Do you have parking at your location?
*Are children allowed in the salon if not being serviced?
*Do you service all clients?
