How did you get started in this business?

Performing magic was a childhood passion. I followed my heart. Now I'm fortunate to have made a career by mixing magic with corporate messaging to make business events memorable.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Sometimes I get a break from the corporate world. I recently helped a family celebrate their martriarch's 100th birthday at a country club in the Chicago area.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

When hiring a magician to entertain at a corporate event, be sure that you see video of the performer entertaining in a situation that is like the event you are holding.

And speak to him or her on the phone to get a sense of their performing style, personality and experience.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

The success of a magic show is often dependent more on the venue than the skill of the performer. Is it bright enough? Is their ambient noise in the room? How will the seats be arranged so that everyone can see and hear the performer?
