I am a college professor, a public speaker, and a musician, with a wide-reaching network. In 2017 I decided to utilize these connections to help clients find the best entertainment for their event needs and budget.

Rates for musicians vary depending on their level of experience and the date of the event. Rates for summer are highest due to the demand for weddings and outdoor festivals. Weekend rates are always higher than weekday rates. I can almost always find something that works with an event's budget, but a good rule of thumb is $150 per musician per hour, with a two hour minimum.
