We have been in the business of making Chicagoland brides beautiful for over 18 years. For the past 5 years, we have received awards from several popular wedding sites. This means we are in the top 2% of all of the wedding beauty vendors in the country.
Traci has been in the industry most of her life, professionally working for 19 years. You could say Traci was destined to be in the business.
Her passions took her to different parts of the world to study and discover her true love of artistry. She got licensed in Illinois and New York and then attended Eastern Illinois University. She studied in pshychology because she was fascinated with the brain and relationships. It's no wonder why she has specialized in becoming a Bridal Beauty Specialist.
After graduating she wanted to follow her dreams to pursue her talents in hair and makeup. She continued to work for MAC for 7 years. In those 7 years, she got to travel and worked along side the most talented, respected artists in the industry.
Her skills and talent has definitely made her mark in the wedding industry. Traci is a true believer in enhancing each and everyone's natural beauty. Each bride should be her best version of herself on her special day.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always do a phone consultation and recommend doing a trial for a bride or anyone that is interested in getting a trial. We set up a date and time and we do our trials at our salon in Elmhurst on Sundays usually. Trials usually take longer than the actual day of. At the trial we go over my contract and then I request a small deposit to hold the date and we figure out all the details of the wedding day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Two cosmetology licenses three makeup certifications. I have worked on TV sets like law and order and Chicago fire Chicago PD I also have won many Hair and makeup awards! I have been trained and certified by M.A.C. Cosmetics for 13 years and have been doing hair for 19 years now.

How did you get started in this business?
I was actually going to school for criminal psychology/criminology and I always have had a passion for the beauty industry so after two years of college I switched over to cosmetology school and knew I found my passion after I graduated. I worked in salons which I absolutely loved being in the beauty industry worked at M•A•C cosmetics found a passion for makeup then about 14 years ago I put 110% of my time money blood sweat and tears into opening this business that specializes in weddings and special events. We have been going strong now for 13 years and have built up our clientele and our staff all of us do amazing work and have an amazing following! Check out our website to see some of our work.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My coworker and I just completed a wedding of 13 clients hair and makeup in less than 5 hours and no rushing at all! Everyone was AMAZING and super friendly! Very rarely we do get a bridal party that has at least 1 client that is not happy with the first hair or makeup Service that wants it redone however, not one person had an issue with any services and everyone came out BEAUTIFUL!! From doing this wedding, I was asked by Chicago Bride magazine to be featured in! It was definitely one of the greatest feelings of accomplishment!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
First check out salon prices and then compare them to mine! Salons always charge differently than I do. Also, do your research!!! Sometimes you can come across a stylist or artist with no credentials and charge outrageous prices.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How many people need which services done, where the work should be completed and what kind of time frame are we working with. Also, it’s good to get an idea of your photographer’s timeline for your day of.
