I have an one-stop entertainment company. I provide: DJ services for all age groups, including karaoke; audio equipment for large and small venues, including hand held microphone and lavalier; large/small screen for video projection; lighting system (basic colors) to set or enhance the mood and electronically stream your message /announcement; uplighting with pipe and draping, video recording; fog machine; bubble machine; popcorn machine. All equipment is state of the art! I provide live entertainment with singers and the perfect size band for the event. No request is too large or small.
I am an energetic, and fun-filled host with 30 years of entertainment experience. My stage name is Meechie and I am well known in the south suburbs and surrounding Indiana area. Past functions include weddings, birthday parties, city festivals, outdoor movie events and concerts, fashion shows, school events, funerals, and etc. I am a "people person" and I take personal interest in making every event memorable and successful.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I give them a little history about my company. We: 1) discuss what type of event they are planning; 2) location of event; 3) how many people are attending; 4) date and time of event; 5) what services would they like; 6) client and I discuss their budget; 7) I provide a breakdown of what services can be provided based on their budget; 8) design event services; 9) negotiate a final budget; 10) develop contract listing event and services; 11) contract signatures client and company representative.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in business for over 30 years. I started my career while in high school playing in a band and continued while in college. After college I continued to grow in the entertainment arena. I keep up to date with the updates and changes needed to excel in my business. I offer state of the art equipment and knowledge to provide the services needed to guarantee a successful event. My knowledge and experience assists the client in determining what they need.

How did you get started in this business?
I started out, in high school, as a band member. At the time I played trumpet, and bass guitar. As I progressed in the field I put together my own band playing keyboards. Later I added DJ and became a popular karaoke host. As I continued to get more involved in the entertainment industry before I knew it I became a full service entertainment company. If I don't have what is needed, which is rare, I usually know where to obtain it.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with event planners for private and corporate events. Other customers have been for wedding receptions, karaoke for public and private events, political events, car dealership, various city outdoor festivals and private events, birthday parties, City of Chicago senior citizen reoccurring programs, 3 to 16 piece bands, recording and duplication services, and private resident events.
