The Good Time DJs
About
Both my partner and I have worked in numerous bars and nightclubs, making our musical knowledge more diverse than many. Over those years, we have also performed at many weddings, birthday parties, and other family functions. We feel that the rates we quote are very competitive and we ABSOLUTELY guarantee that we will NOT cancel any event for any reason. Over the years, we have found that the type of music that we are playing directly affects the people at the event. I believe that this is the thing that sets us apart from other DJs out there. We don't get motivated by the pay for the event as much as we feed off of the good time that the guests are having. We LOVE to entertain people. We always want everyone to have a "good time." Hence the name of the company.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin by reviewing the event information provided by the client on the platform. If we need additional information, we will send them a link to one of our Google forms to gather it. Once we have received the appropriate information, we determine a customized quote for the event and forward it to the client. Once they have received their quote, we look forward to hearing from them once they have reviewed it. If we don't hear back from them, we will follow up after about 24 hours. Then again a few days later. We do this to ensure that we continue to be available to that client without jeapordizing our ability to book the date with other potential clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I consistently go through the various music charts to make sure that we keep up with all of the latest and greatest music that is coming out. We also go back and play some of the timeless music that everyone loves so they aren't forgotten either.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing for our events is as unique as the demands of our clients. Our packages start as low as $250 for smaller local events and go up to $1500 for very large events that require long travel and overnight hotel stays.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with all types of clients from large corporations having family days to the smallest of back yard weddings. Grad parties, high school proms, mardi gras balls and floats....you name it and we have probably played it! We take pride in providing excellent service to EVERY ONE of our customers, no matter the event or clientele.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Remember that you get what you pay for in this industry. Many people go with the cheapest bid, but there are a million fly by night DJ operations out there. With us, you have 2 people that have more than 15 years experience each in reading your crowd and playing what they like. We also have a fantastic work ethic and will NOT cancel an event for any reason. Better DJ's charge a little more, but the experience that you will have in the end will far outweigh the small increase in cost.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
There are a lot of elements that require some thought before requesting quotes from vendors. Some pertinent points that effect the ability to perform and package costs include
* Amount of Performance Time
* Location of the event (City/State) / Travel distance
* Number of guests
* Setting of the event (Indoors, outdoors, or both)
* Power Requirements
* Lighting requirements or add ons (dance floor lighting, uplighting, Monogram lighting)
* Microphone requirements (officiant, couple, both, or neither)
* Any special requests specific to the event
