Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to learn their taste, and vision for their big day. Then meet with them at our office where we provide a customized demo of how we will create the mood that will have time disappear and the couple get lost in the moment and want it to continue.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Music collector with every top 100 hit going back to 1955. Most of the top hits prior to 1955 going back to early 1900's.
Traveled to over 100 countries bringing music back from most of them from the top deejays in those countries.
Wrote a book on the formula for achieving the highest success and satisfaction.
Author, speaker, trainer and certification to teach in Maryland.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We have standard pricing and all of the options and packages are listed on our website at absoluteentertianment.com.
We have rates below $1000 and rates for our top tiered professional mixers that go up to $3000.
How did you get started in this business?
Love of music, and becoming a music collector got me invited to a lot of events as the 'deejay'. The demand increased and so did the fun. So went professional, full-time and never looked back. Focused on studying the art of mixology (how to beat mix music from different cultures and genres) and was fascinated with the new world of possibilities.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Typically customers with challenges in mixing music from different backgrounds, customers who are music lovers and/or have high expectations and want something customized or unique.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Too many to list and it appears to keep getting better because music is constantly evolving.
I particularily love events for couples who have very different music tastes but love to have a great time.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
It is a great benefit to visit an entertainment company at their office to experience their professionalism. A demonstration of their sound equipment will compliment their commitment to being that professional and their wizardry in mixing and reading crowds will be evident in a demonstration of how they create the right mood for you and your friends/guests.
A conversation over coffee just leaves too many variables to be a mystery that could lead to major disappointment.
