DJ Fo4 has supported clients in the DMV and Pennsylvania for parties, weddings, corporate events, and karaoke. I pride myself in always being accessible, communicative, and resourceful. My name stems from being a "Father of 4" great kids. I have a wide variety of lighting and speaker options to support small intimate deck parties, to events with hundreds of guests.     Matt helped me to setup the Zoom meeting and provided instructions for login/settings for my guests. It was my 65th birthday party and it was a blast. Experienced Zoom users (younger) should have no problem, less experienced ones (older) may need more hand holding. Matt was able to coordinate the muting to keep conversations with my guests under control and everyone could chat globally or individually with me as they wished.     Matt was easily the best DJ Ive ever experienced. He attended a party of mine that was over 2.5 hours away, even beat me and my friends to the venue where the event was, and was VERY prompt in setting up. His setup was amazing. The lights he provided, and his sound was superb. He had a great style and he played all the genres I requested. He has an amazingly deep knowledge of Latin music and he kept me and my girls partying until 2 AM. Matt is also a really nice person and truly cares about the clients interests.     I called on Matt to DJ my daughters 11th grade Halloween party. He was extremely responsive and able to commit to the event on fairly short notice. I was impressed with Matts thorough and enthusiastic replies to my e-mails. He arrived in plenty of time to set up and was very efficient. The party went beautifully, with Matt taking requests from the kids and there were no technical difficulties, no trouble with equipment -- everything went smoothly and as expected.     We hired Matt for our May wedding that turned into a September wedding due to COVID. He worked with us closely during the weeks leading up to our wedding to make sure we were comfortable with our song choices. He even provided songs to choose from for different parts of our reception. He was proffesional and yet personal. We appreciate all the hard work he put into having our wedding on a farm. He set up a small area for the wedding, for the cocktail hour, and for the reception. He provided a number of microphones for the two pastors, the soloist, and for us.     I work with the Traktor line of DJ software and hardware. Some of my photos show examples of special effects and midi controllers I like to incorporate into my sets. I simply do not serve as a human version of Spotify, but I focus on accurate beat blending representing the needs of the client while offering songs from other genres they might not have previously considered.     I am an expert public speaker by virtue of other non profit work I do, and effective emceeing is something I pride myself in. I offer professional microphones for party members as well.

    With events requiring lighting, speakers, and DJ-support, I prefer 2h of setup time.

    I also reach out regularly to clients via e-mail check ins, virtual visits, cell, and occasional in-person consults.

    I grew up around a wide swath of musical genres with my own father back home in Allentown, PA and I introduce my 4 children to the same here in Maryland. Top 40, pop, oldies, 80s (I can’t call that oldies yet!), dancehall, jazz, R&B / hip hop, bachata, balada, reggaetón, modern and classic rock (Muse - my favorite band of all time), country, bluegrass, and of course electronic (trance and progressive being my true loves).     I also am well versed in Christian worship music of varying styles. Plus, as a father of 4, I am in the weeds on kiddie favorites and children’s tunes. I am Virtus certified with the Archdiocese of Baltimore for children safety. So I am more than capable to assist with children’s events at school functions or private parties.
