This little gem of a salon tucked away on the south side is golden. Monae is my stylist and her talent with color is extraordinary. Ive never been more confident and happy with my cut and color in years. I relish each and every compliment. 52 years on this plant and I have found on of the most professional and talented stylist I have ever encountered. Highly recommend. P.S. my husband loves her too!

Not only is Monet at Starz Salon very personable, she is also very talented at her job. I have been going to her for years now, and there has not been one cut I’ve had where I had been upset. She will listen to your needs and wants as a customer. When I first got my haircuts with her I had no idea what to get, I just showed her a picture and told her I wanted my hair to look like “that.” She was able to get the job done. She’s trained at texturizing your hair with various techniques that include razoring. Not to mention, she is a “fade master.” All in all I would recommend going to Monet, because she makes you feel at home as well. She is very kind and her sessions are very affordable as well. I would tell all my friends to go to Monet!
