Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Minimum of 10 people per buffet style catering
$350 minimum for any private chef services for 2 people or less
$500 minimum for private chef services 3 or more people +50 per hour per chef
How did you get started in this business?
Graduated college in 2014 worked 5years in the industry as line cooks and a sous chef for a non profit catering company. February of 2019 I stepped out on faith and followed my dream of owning my own business. And the rest is history!! GRITS CLT was born and we've had an amazing first year. 2020 has definitely showed us how to revamp our standard.

Corporate workers, teachers , fellow entrepreneurs, hospital staff, call centers, schools, and a few churches

Annual Support your troops event held by a local non profit. All proceeds help veterans.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Have a budget and be flexible but firm.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Their budget and the expectations of the service they want provided for said budget. If they are willing to negotiate that final cost if they have gotten all they wanted but its outside the budget. Have they shipped around for prices, are they aware of services fees and taxes, have they found a venue for event, and location of event.
