My name is David H. Martin aka DJ Lightning fka DJ Whitelightning.

I am a talented and skilled open format DJ/VJ/MC who can mix, blend, cut, scratch, transform and beat juggle with the best of them, as needed, depending on the requirements of an event, venue or client.

I play Top 40, Mash-ups, Club, Funk, House, R&B, Hip Hop, Latin, Freestyle, Rock, Reggae, Jazz, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's 90's Old School music and more. I have massive music and music video libraries with just about any genre of music. I create, play & mix custom playlists as per the needs of the client, venue or event.

I have done many types of events and venues including weddings, sweet 16's, clubs, bars, lounges, radio (101.7 FM in the Hamptons among others) & TV shows (Club MTV with Downtown Julie Brown), bowling alleys, graduation parties, DJ battles (DMC, Guitar Center and other DJ Battles), birthday parties and more.

I was the resident VJ at the Bowlero Bowl in Milford, Connecticut and Bowlmor in Norwalk, Connecticut from November of 2015, through July of 2018.

I have DJ'd & VJ'd at the Bowlmor Lanes in Chelsea Piers and White Plains, Studio Square Beer Garden, Bohemian Beer Garden, The Loft LIC, Villa Lombardi's, The Corners, Mirrors On Grand and the New York State Fair.

I also at DJ'd and VJ'd music and music videos at The Bedford and Spike Hill in Williamsburgh, Brooklyn, Tommy Nevins in Evanston, Illinois, the Harvard Business School Class of 2004 10th reunion in Boston Mass., Papa Jake's near Buffalo, NY, Burke's Bar in Yonkers, NY, New Roc City Bowl in New Rochelle, NY, Brooklyn Winery, Pratt Mansions, The Island Mermaid on Fire Island and various venues in the New York City metro area.

From October, 2008 through the end of April 2010 I was the resident VJ-DJ-MC at The Leisure Time Bowl in midtown Manhattan where I mixed music videos (that were displayed on 30 large screen TV's) and music of many genres on Friday and Saturday nights.

I can play on midi controllers, CDJ's and turntables with Serato DJ and or Virtual DJ in conjunction with a Macbook Pro notebook computer and external hard drives.

I have done sound systems for many other DJ's including DJ Self of Power 105.
