About
Hi, I am Juliana (Jules) Fogler. With over 18 years experience, I provide haircuts, colors, hilights, foiling techniques, keratin smoothing treatments and hair strengthening treatments for both women and men. All with the time saving convenience of coming to your home.
While experiencing a fabulous service, kick back with a beer or glass of wine that I provide. I also will bring some aroma therapy or crystals for relaxation or invigorating energy. ( Nothing weird lol, it's just fun)! Lastly, I have the best referral program. Send me someone new, and when they receive a service, you get 25% off your next service! Cheers
I enjoy so many aspects of my career. After being independent for the last year. I realize even more how much I like doing hair due to the personal attention I can really give in this one on one setting. No rush, no drama. I love that I can genuinely focus on one person at a time and feel that I'm a better artist for it!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and for most is giving a killer consultation. It's best to text me with your name and a good time to call. This is especially important with color clients so they can send pics of what they currently look like and color ideas of what they would like. I'll even meet for coffee to discuss their hair if they like, I love to be very thorough and there is never any pressure to book with me!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my license in 2000 after a 2 year apprenticeship under a Paul Mitchell Master Associate, while training to become a Nation Educator for John Paul Mitchell Systems.
I worked for the Global Artistic Director for JPMS in CA for 3 years as an assistant, then stylist before moving back to NYC, where I have worked in 2 Paul Mitchell Focus Salons as well as traveling teaching cutting and coloring in other people's salons and working hair shows.
I currently have a license in CA & NY as well as a national certification to educate for Paul Mitchell.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started in this business?
I was sweeping floors and answering phones for a Paul Mitchell Salon during summers in college where I was used frequently as a hair model in hair shows. I was amazed at how much fun these stylists were having! The owner of the salon offered me an apprenticeship and I never looked back. Best decision ever!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I feel at this point I've worked with a vast cross section of people, especially working in NYC for so long. I don't want to be vague, but there's so many personalities, ethnicities, and hair types that I've worked with! I love coloring dreadlocks and do sheitel work as well.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Often times, you get what you pay for! Deal sites are great for restaurants, outings or products but not necessarily hair services. Ask lots of questions! Those of us who are true professionals love answering questions and not beating around the bush. I never promise more than I can deliver and never say that I can do a service that I don't know how to do just to make money. Still unsure? Ask more questions!
