Bryan Stone p.k.a. DJ Mighty Joe was born February 23rd in Cincinnati, OH. His first love was music, whether he was playing it or making it. After being a hip hop dancer all throughout high school, he gave his full attention to audio production at University Of Cincinnati’s College of Conservatory Music. In 1999 Mighty Joe relocated to North Carolina and landed a position as in-house producer for an independent label. In 2006, after returning to Cincinnati and becoming well known for his mixtapes, he was hired by Radio One Cincinnati as a mix show DJ until 2009. Shortly after, he was nominated twice as best club DJ in 2012 and 2013 by Ohio Hip Hop Awards and again in 2014 by Greater Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky Hip Hop Awards. DJ Mighty Joe has released mixtapes featuring the likes of Gorilla Zoe, Dem Franchize Boys, Gucci Mane, Big Bank Black, Yo Gotti, Rick Ross, FloRida, Jadakiss, Webbie, Calico Jonez, Soulja Boy, Young Dro, Shawty Lo (RIP) and others as co-hosts and features as well as DJing some of their live performances.
