Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I would get in touch with them and talk about what kind of event they have requested me for. Second, we would discuss what genre of music would be best for their event and I would find some pieces, and adjust from there. Lastly, I would practice the pieces they have chosen and play them for their event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
10 years of piano lessons from a pro in Bexley, Ohio.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
It all depends on the duration, difficulty of the pieces, and how far away the event is. We can discuss and negotiate the price once we get there.
How did you get started in this business?
I began practicing the piano at the age of 5 and ever since then I fell in love with the art of the piano! 10 years later I have the same instructor and I am playing music for others and myself.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have played for weddings and galas.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
This summer, I played for a wedding that was in a church. During when the bride was walking down the aisle, it turned out to take a little longer than expected. Even though the song had already ended, I proceeded to continue it by connecting the ending with a similar part in the song making the change seamlessly. After that, everything flowed nicely and the wedding was exquisite.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
It is worth it spending extra on someone with a lot of experience and skill. The guests will forever remember the music because the music sets the mood and ambiance of the event.
