What types of customers have you worked with?
I DJ in the Pittsburgh area and surrounding locations, I do an average of 25-30 weddings every year, plus tons of Birthday parties, Graduations and School dances. I have done all types of venues with guests ranging from an intimate 25 to a full house of over 700+.

For the past 4 years now I do a chairty event for a special organization for cancer patients since I lost my dad to cancer in 2009
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always try to meet in person, make sure that they are asking for a deposit, if not then your date is never saved or guaranteed. Which means if they get a "better gig" you're out! Also make sure that they can show you proof of insurance and a criminal background check.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Just making sure that they are the right fit and always interview a few not just one
