What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After our initial contact, we will meet face to face with clients if that is possible and find out what their needs are and how best we can meet those needs. For weddings we have several meetings or communications sessions to assist in planning and recommending ceremonies or other activities.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a member of Toastmasters International, and National Association of Moble Entertainers. I am continually educating myself via workshops and forums with other DJ's
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Wedding packages start at $500 for four hours of service. Private and corporate rates are $75 per hour, minimum three hours.
How did you get started in this business?
Started as most others doing private parties, then weddings and corporate events.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am especially proud to donate my services to three charitable events. The River Tin Street Rod Car Show (provides for Disabled Vets), The Paducah Zombie Walk (supports local food pantries, and the Buddy Walk (Down Syndrome)
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure your vendor has insurance, and has good verifiable reviews from past customers.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What type of service they want, how long they want it, will it be outdoors or indoors and will the vendor be able to accomadate their needs
