What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Check for their experiences, check for their references (social media, word of mouth, recent customers) see how working under technical difficulties. Ask Questions, outweigh the good from bad and choose wisely. Book them before someone else does.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
if they are a serious inquire, have a budget set, and ask what the pay rate by $/hr or one flat rate. (Ask if there is hidden fees)How far are they’re wiling to travel, is there a fee for travel expenses, ask what is need for the dj, table chair, or has own equipment. Ask if the place of the event has PA system. Ask if they could come an hour early to set up, also a lot of times I like to check out the venue before the event, so see if the Dj is willing to do that. Cover all grounds for the dj to know what to have on deck.
