For new clients, I have a consultation session and client intake forms that must be completed prior to beginning any work. We go through the desired look/style, past treatments, and anything I should know about them that could possibly prohibit services from being rendered. 

I am a licensed cosmetologist, with a focus in makeup. 

My prices are pretty much set based on the time it takes to complete a service. 

I got started with makeup first, because I was uncomfortable with the heavy amounts of products I would see being used on other women. I started doing hair because people kept canceling my appointments when I had events and shows to do. 

I have worked with every type of customer, from toddler to elder; male and female; my next door neighbor to celebrities. 

Always be sure that it's someone you would come back to. Your experience with any artist should be enjoyable. 

Does this look/style fit my workplace? Is this a look/style something that I can maintain on my own, in the event of an emergency? Do I have the time required to complete this look/style when booking the appointment or will I be rushing?
