Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will want to speak to or even meet with the new client to discuss what they're looking for. I will go over details and for weddings, I give handouts with tips and information that I require. We can chat as much as they'd like throughout the pre-event process. They will ge me email and cell number. We will go over all requiements, wishes, etc. to make sure that all details are aligned.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in the Audio Visual systems industry, for my full-time job, for about 30 years. So, knowing about sound and vidio, connectivity of the equipment and being in the mix of folks that need good products, it allows me to set up and manage a great atmosphere for events. I have also worked as a stage hand and lighting controller for some popular local bands and have been infront of a lot of people as I worked. I have no issues with speaking to a crowd of thousands if need be.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Is varies as I price my services to the needs of the clients. My hoursly rate varies with the size of the event and whats involved in things like complexity of the load in/out. How far away the gig is from my home. How much sound and lighting the client is interested in.
