Our guests complimented DK all night and days after. His planning call and attention to detail helped us think through things we did not even think about, even for non-music things. He was an amazing coordinator and DJ that made the day flawless. We were not anticipating our guests to be a dancing crowd, but DK made everyone want to dance -- even my parents! Everyone had such a great time because he went around to include every tables song requests. Free consultation to start, then a signed contract and 50% deposit to hold a date if wanting to book our services.

We do not. Each event and venue is unique. We like to start with an initial consultation to get an idea of what our client's needs are, then we can provide a quote based on their scope.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
There is a vast variety of DJ types. Don't bunch them into the same category.
DJ STYLE: Some just play music, others Emcee, some are interactive, and some can do it all. Have you thought about what style of DJ you want?
DJ MUSIC: Some are eclectic, some specialize in specific genres and/or decades, some have clean music, others have explicit or a mix of both, and some only stream music without a physical library. What is most important to you?
DJ EQUIPMENT: Does the DJ you're hiring have the equipment you need for your location? Sound, microphones, lighting, karaoke, video projector, photo booth, etc? Or does the venue have all that already?
INSURANCE: Does the venue require your DJ to have liability insurance?
There's a lot to consider when hiring a DJ. Both you and the DJ should ask each other questions. That will go a long way to finding the perfect someone for a successful evening.
