Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Please share your musical needs, location of the event, technical needs and time committment. From there, we will work out the necessary details so your event is a success.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a platinum music producer who has worked with musicians ranging from Ludacris to 50 Cent. I have also had five years experience as a radio DJ, over a decade of experience as a club and international touring DJ.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Typically, my rate starts at $500 epr event, but may vary based on technical needs/time commitment and travel.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Club, corporate, radio stations, weddings, non-profits, community centers, schools and more.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently performed for the third consecutive year as the official after party DJ of The Isthmus/The Overture Center of Madison's "Frostiball 2019" event.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Having a clear vision of the music your event and event attendees will enjoy helps the DJ prepare. Of course, a DJ should be ready to honor requests and mix on-the-fly, but preparation gives both parties peace of mind.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Technical needs (What kind of sound system is required for the space? How will the space be set up?)
Musical needs (Are there are songs or genres that MUST be played throughout the event?)
