Konrad Taylor, professionally known as DJ Kasanova, brings a unique combination of global musical influence, decades of crowd experience, and professional reliability to every event he performs.

Born in Sierra Leone, West Africa, and raised in the United States from the age of five, Konrad’s passion for music began at home. His father introduced him to a wide range of sounds including jazz, African rhythms, soul, R&B, and pop classics from artists such as Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, and Lisa Stansfield. Watching how music could bring people together and create unforgettable moments sparked a lifelong appreciation for the power of a great soundtrack.

As a teenager, Konrad expanded his musical tastes into hip-hop and R&B, drawing inspiration from legendary artists including Nas, Tupac, Jay-Z, Outkast, Kanye West, and The Notorious B.I.G. In 2009, while living and working in China, he discovered electronic music and developed a deep appreciation for the storytelling, emotion, and energy that great DJs create. Experiences at iconic Shanghai venues such as Bar Rouge, Mint, and G+, along with performances from artists like Kaskade, Tiësto, and Calvin Harris, helped shape the musical identity that defines his sets today.

Upon returning to the United States, Konrad settled in Detroit and began performing professionally. Over the years he developed a reputation for delivering energetic, sophisticated, and crowd-focused experiences at venues including Magic Stick, 3Fifty Terrace, The Skip, Bosco, and numerous Movement Festival after-parties. During this time, he also became one-half of the house music duo Shameless alongside Andre “ATP” Terrell, blending smooth melodic house, soulful grooves, and high-energy drops into a signature sound that consistently moved dance floors.

Today, DJ Kasanova continues to build on that foundation with performances across Arizona, California, and beyond. His experience includes rooftop venues, luxury hotels, pool parties, private events, corporate functions, festivals, weddings, and nightlife residencies.
