My favorite part of tattooing is the freedom to do what I enjoy as a career. I have only tattooed as my main source of income for 10 years. Making people happy through permanent art work and being inspired in new ways by people's original ideas

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would like to meet all potential or repeat clients face to face, but I know life doesn't always allow that to happen. I do most online consultations through Instagram @mishler_tattooer or by text message (602) 492-6912
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed a year long apprenticeship in 2013 and have been furthering my personal tattooing education ever since. Through books, instructional videos, or by meeting other tattooers and hearing their experiences.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My minimum pricing is $60 and I work on an hourly rate of between $120 and $150
How did you get started in this business?
As a young teenager I worked as an assistant to an oldies DJ. Many of the events we attended attracted many walks of life from the counter culture. I saw tons of people with tattoos and instantly knew I wanted them. I was always interested in art and have been drawing since I was a child. I started trying to tattoo when I was 15, as stated before I wanted tons of tattoos, but no adult in their right mind would tattoo me. When I learned tattooing was not a hobby and an actual career I stopped tattooing from home. 2012 I was lucky to find an apprenticeship at the shop I started being professionally tattooed at when I turned 18. By 2013 I had finished my apprenticeship and the rest is history.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I try not to have a type of customer. I prefer to work with any and all people as long as I can accomplish the tattoo they're seeking
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Research a tattoo artists work before contacting them. Be open to suggestions. If an artist tells you they can't try not to argue. They're looking out for your best interests. If a tattoo artist says they can. Look for examples of them achieving something similar to what you want
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The design and if there is any reference material that needs to be collected. How big they want the tattoo in inches. Where on the body they'd like the tattoo. If they'd like color, black and grey, or other. If they want to use numbing cream and letting the artist know you are before hand. If you can see yourself wearing this tattoo forever
