About

I believe my enthusiasm is genuinely 'heard' when I explain my personal chef business to prospective clients. Describing savory dishes makes people hungry - cooking with fresh ingredients and hearing clients say' 'Wow, it smells so good in here', when they arrive home to the aromatics of home cooking.

My experience includes 6 years of preparing 16 Pureed Meals (4 days of meals) for a Tube Feeder, cooking for clients with Diabetes, Parkinson's Disease, Heart issues, Sjogrens Disease and many clients with a desire to eat healthier meals, Monday through Friday!

I love the variety I offer and present to my clients. Our first meeting allows me to understand their nutritional needs, medical issues, favorite foods or unsavory tastes. With this, I can prepare their weekly meals exactly how they like - or take Event information for a Dinner Party or Appetizer & Cocktail Gathering. Accountability, creativity and my authentic Enthusiasm are alway present, something I'm proud of as well. :)

For 19 years I've held my Certificate as a Certified Professional Food Manager with Maricopa County Health Dept. in Phoenix, AZ, (with continuing education testing every 5 years). I'm a Member of The American Personal & Private Chef Assoc. (where I learned the business of personal cheffing), since 2003. My cooking demonstrations include 2 TV Appearances on AZTV7 w/the Nov. 2018 segment being interviewed by Pat McMahon for Thanksgiving Food Ideas.

Every job is different, every client has requests for their own tastes, and it's a great challenge. From Italian, Mexican, Continental or American dishes - I'll use wonderful recipes to make each type of cuisine precise to their liking.

Cocktail parties are so much fun in presenting a pulethera of appetizers, all arranged on a 'dressed up' self serve buffet. I love to cook for small dinner parties where I plate each course and stand at the table to describe exactly what they'll be enjoying....And they do! With applause sometimes! It's the best! :)

A Client Assessment Form is required for new clients to complete (this can be printed from my website).  It's 5 pages of important, nutritional information I need to know about my clients and will keep in their file, so I can refer back to their individual tastes, likes, dislikes and allergies, if any.  A weekly 'cookdate' is set up, I Email notice of their Menu and my job starts: Creating the Menu; gathering the recipes, make the shopping list, shop, prep, cook, label all meals, place in their fridge, leave the menu & get paid.
