Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer consultations so we can get to know our new clients and understand their goals. It is important to us to also thoroughly explain the processes and techniques we use as well as the science behind why we do what we do.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our owner is a licensed nurse with a background in research and public health and a combined 25 years in the medical and beauty field. Our cosmetologists and estheticians are some of the best around with advanced practice training in all of our techniques, procedures and treatments. Not only is our staff the best of the best but we also offer training and education to help others become the best in their field of expertise as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We pay close attention to the market and try to adjust our fees fairly for the services we provide. We believe in value based services and pricing system reflects this. To make things affordable and to thank our repear clients we offer specials throughout the year and great deals on packages.
How did you get started in this business?
Our owner is crazy about research and loves both medicine and the beauty industry. Creating this company was a perfect mix of all the things she enjoys and cares about.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Our treatments are for everyone. We have both male and female clients. We have people in the 20's through their 90's. Our clients are generally looking to reverse or slow down the aging process or the signs of aging. Everything we do is with these goals in mind.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask the important questions. What, when, why, who, where, how and how much:
What exactly will be done?
When will they see results, how long will it take to heal?
Why this procedure? Why not that treatment? Why?
Where will it be performed, how often do they need to return?
Who is doing the treatment?
How are they qualified? How will their goals be accomplished?
How much is this all going to cost?
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Clients really need to think about their goals and ask questions about any treatments and/or procedures they are considering. No one should blindly have anything done without knowing the risks, costs, potential adverse outcomes, etc. There are a great many wonderful professionals in the beauty field but there is also a great deal of nonsense (even in med-spas and doctors offices). If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. Also, less is more. Oftentimes the more invasive, the more risk and the higher the potential for a poor outcome that cannot be reversed. If someone tries to rush or bully a client into buying or agreeing to something, think twice and walking away is probably the best idea.
