What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would say do your research. Know what you prefer, meaning know your lifestyle. If extension are what you want and work best for your, "get up and go," Go with the Pro and really explain your desires even with pictures. Make sure You tell them what you like, the length you want and if you are dealing with allergies. Reason being is because your scalp is a portal and needs to release toxins through your sweaty scalp. However, if you chose to use glue that may hinder the release of natural oils and toxins. Causing you allergies or discomfort. Looking into sewn-in, clip-ins or bond to hair and not scalp. ( although I am apposed to any bonding)
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
They should consider if they are dealing with psoriasis, Alopecia or damaged hair due to color treatment or perms. Then focus first on healing the scalp before the actual style to make sure that the style will support the overall goal.
