Svetlana’s Hair Studio
About
Svetlana has been in the hair industry for over 20 years. She started her career as a hair stylist in 1996 at one of the high-end hair salons in Moscow, Russia and specialized in hair coloring. After receiving her certification from Schwarzkopf, she was promoting the company’s products and training other hair professionals in mixing and applying colors. While working in Moscow Svetlana also went through a number of training arranged by European companies Londa, Cutrin and Goldwell where she learned the latest hair cutting and coloring techniques.
In 2007 Svetlana moved to San Diego. Svetlana studied at San Diego City College and worked as a hair stylist at White Orchid Salon in La Jolla till May 2015 and then decided to open her own studio. Svetlana’s Hair studio at Phenix Suites in La Jolla opened doors last summer on the Independence Day of July 4th, which also symbolized her own independence, as a small business owner. That was her longtime dream that finally came true.
Although Svetlana is quite busy servicing her clients six days a week, she enjoys spending her spare time and outdoor activities with her family. Svetlana is very proud of her son, who moved to San Diego as a fourteen-years old boy and now serves in the US Navy in San Diego.
