Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We talk by phone and I get the information I need. I then send an email with the contract that they email back.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended many magic conventions that have seminars. I have had a number of mentors that have taught me. I now mentor new magicians.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Each show is so different so pricing is on a show by show basis. Children shows generally run between $175 and $250. Adult shows run between $200 and $300. Each have add-ons that are available.
How did you get started in this business?
I saw a magician and went back many times. I knew it was what I was meant to do in life. He turned me on to a teacher and the rest is history.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types. I have worked on cruise ships, traveled to many countries performing at trade shows, performed for sports teams like the San Diego Chargers and Padres. I have performed at huge gatherings like The San Diego County Fair and a party of 2000 for the USS Constellation.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I perform yearly at The San Diego County Fair. Sometimes in front of 500 or more people of all ages.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Get a full-time professional not an entertainer that has a regular job and entertains on the side to make extra money. Look for a lot of great reviews.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Does he fit with my needs?
