Hi my name is AJ, all I have is the passion for music. Starting off with my father being a huge influence on my taste and how this love turned into trying to make it as a side gig. I’m a professional chef (full-time) but looking for an opportunity to share my music out there. If you ask me what my style is, I wouldn’t be able to give you a straight answer cause it all depends on the Atmosphere and especially the VIBE, as I am confident to bring people TOGETHER especially these sign of TIMES. But if you ask me what I listen to a lot and who have been my inspiration is and was. I’d say it all started with listening to funk Tapes like tower of power, to Miles Davis, and sometimes would hyper focus and dissect the whole Beach Boys Masterpiece (Pet Shop Sounds).

Than as a 45 year old Music enthusiast, that went through the Golden years(in my opinion)

Of HIP HOP, there was this sound I fell in love with in the Sub-Culture which was going to raves and heard House, Trance and Techno for the first time, and ever since I always had the diligence to study the history. Than around 2008 I decided to move to NYC to further my cooking career, but also was a curious about the rich history of Underground disco clubs like the Paradise garage, the tunnel to name a few. That even made my obsession to play and share my vibe with people. So make the long story short, I’ve DJEd after parties before, for friends and a selective family members. Now, do I have the experience? No! But I do know I can give a fair price and just need a fair chance. I can even do one gig for free to do a trial run, no hassle for both sides. Right now I’m thinking no more than 30 people, think of a bachelor or a bachelorette party for now. I have one denon dj and 1 powered speaker that’s about enough to fill an intimate room of friends or family that need a time to vibe and get lost in the music.
