What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Salon: We sit with our new customers for a complimentary consultation. We discuss your unique needs and desires and hair history. For color guests, we perform a patch test to test for allergies and sensitivities and a strand test to test hair strength, porosity and elasticity. We then design a custom plan of action to achieve your desired results. You'll leave your consultation with a price quote and approximate timing. Upon returning to the salon for your chemical service, you'll be treated to excellent service, expert design, and amenities like complimentary paraffin dips, snacks, drinks, and an expansive menu of pampering that you can indulge in.
Bridal: Again, we sit with you for a complimentary consultation and discuss your unique desires as a bride. We discuss every element of your wedding and craft a plan of action for you. As a bride, you'll have prioritized private communication with your bridal coordinator and a professional lady-in-waiting for your wedding day. You'll have unlimited touch ups through out your day and an option for touch ups through your reception as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The beauty industry rivals tech in how quickly it evolves and grows. Education is a huge priority for us and we pride ourselves in taking weekly and monthly classes, as well as traveling annually for larger classes.
We are certified in microdermabrasion, chemical exfoliation, intimate waxing, and Hair Talk extensions.

How did you get started in this business?
We are a mother and daughter team and we attended beauty school together. We fell in love with the industry and truly love working together to make the world a pretty place.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with customers with many different needs, including bridal, color, extensions, waxing, and more. We service all clients from all walks of life, including our LGBTQ community. We also work with our local anti-violence center to help women and children leaving violent homes to get back on their feet.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We host classes monthly and our favorite so far has been our Blowdry Bootcamp. Our guests joined us for a VIP evening complete with signature mocktails, cupcakes, snacks, and goody bags. Our guests received a deep conditioning treatment and then were taught how to blowdry their hair at home.
What advice would you give a customers looking to hire a vendor in your area of expertise?
Ask as many questions as you can and don't be afraid to look for your perfect stylist. Every stylist has a target guest, and every guest has a target stylist. Find your stylist that fits into your tribe.
What questions should customers think through before talking to vendors about their needs?
You should have a fairly clear idea of what you are wanting to achieve or be extremely flexible. Stylists like to have a direction to go in for their designs and it is important that you have a clear understanding of your desires so everyone is on the same page.
