Hi All! I’m Chef Valerie! Been cooking professionally for 8 years. Have assisted with starting up restaurants, bars and lounges. I have a 4 year degree in English and a 2 year degree in Culinary Arts with a huge concentration in artesian breads and chocolates/confections. I have mentored various students of all ages, taught kids cooking classes and was the Head Chef of Educational Playcare. I am well versed or trained with cooking for children and adults with allergies, dietary restrictions and nutritional standards.
I was Head Chef at Chapter One Food & Drink in Guilford, Mezzo Grille in Middletown and Hilton Garden Inn Wallingford/Meriden.
I was Sous Chef at Hotel Marcel in New Haven and Hudson Table Stamford.
In a nutshell, I am a hardworking, diverse and skilled Chef looking to serve the community, families, individuals any way I can by remaining true to me and my standards:
