About

I've been tattooing for over 25 years and specialize in illustrative realism but I love doing most styles of tattooing.

Michael Fisher, Fish to his clients, friends and family, has been tattooing with Timeless Craft (originally Whole Addiction) since 2002. He started tattooing in 1995, apprenticing under Onkel Pete Stuffer (RIP) in Germantown, MD. He helped establish Perforations in Washington DC, in spring 1995, first as a piercer and then moving over to tattooing full-time once his apprenticeship was complete. During this period, Fish completed seminars in fineline portraiture with Jack Rudy and large-scale custom tattooing with Paul Booth. In, 2000, Fish left Perforations to work at Grafixx Tattoo, also in Washington DC, for the next two years. Realizing his future was not in the nation’s Capitol, Fish relocated to South Florida in February 2002. He bounced around a bit until he found his home at Whole Addiction in September 2002.

With over twenty-five years in the tattoo industry, Fish has an affinity for fineline black and grey work including portraiture, illustrative color tattooing, and cover-up and repair work. He is more than capable of any style of tattoo you want. He continues to endeavor to constantly improve and add to his skills.

Fish has worn many hats in his long life. He has done a little of everything, including US Navy Hospital Corpsman, club DJ, electronic security specialist, psychiatric technician, painter, and currently, father, Mason, author, and tattooer, not necessarily in that order. He has a love of ugly Hawaian shirts. He also bears a passing resemblance to both The Dude and Walter Sobchak in The Big Lebowski.

I like to have an in-person consultation to get the proper sizing and positioning as well as a deposit before we start the design process. Once you love your design, we'll book your appointment to start.

I've been tattooing for 25+ years and constantly strive to keep learning. I've taken seminars in black and grey realism with Jack Rudy and large-scale black and grey with Paul Booth.

My hourly rate is $150 per hour. The shop minimum is $80. My full day buyout rate is $1000

I've always had a passion for art and a fixation on tattoos since childhood seeing my grandpa's WWII tattoos. I started getting tattooed after boot camp in 1988 and knew this would be my passion. After a few years searching for an apprenticeship, the tattooer who was doing my work, Oncle Pete (RIP), saw how passionate I was and decided to teach me rather than having try to learn on my own and messing it up.
