What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak with them and hear their thoughts and initial ideas about what they want for their special event and let them know how I can help them make those ideas come to life. Once I have a good idea of what they want, I can put together a quote that includes everything or just give a la carte pricing, if they just want certain things.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Psychology, which really helps with dealing with people and stressful situations and making sure that the host/bride doesn't get stressed out before or during their special event.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I like to put together custom event packages that includes everything and can save the client more money that if they were doing it themselves without my services, but I an give a la carte pricing as well.
How did you get started in this business?
I got started when my then fiance' and I spent a full year planning out own wedding back in 2003. (We were married on 1/4/2003 --which we thought was special because the numbers "143" represented the number of letters in the words "I Love You" and is a special way we say it to each other when we see those numbers anywhere, like on signs, license plates, etc.) Anyway, after doing EXTENSIVE research and meeting literally ALL of the vendors in Central Florida, we decided to use that research and our experience planning our own wedding to help other couples plan their weddings and other families plan their special celebrations.
