A Sharp Affair Band plays live music for all affairs: weddings, receptions, parties, night clubs, restaurants, reunions etc. James Sharp is a musician, songwriter, arranger and director. We perform Jazz, R&B, Motown, Blues, Funk, Rock and Roll. We can provide a Super Solo artist up to a sensational eight piece Band with a female vocalist.
A Sharp Affair Band also performs tribute shows: Earth Wind and Fire, Kool and the Gang, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Isley Brothers, New Orleans zydeco and The Motown Revue.
Our bands are super talented and self contained.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
High School band for four years. I play piano, bass, guitar, trumpet, sax, bass instruments and sing.
College two years of Vocal training.
I have been performing professional for over 50 years.
I was on a live show with Stevie Wonder. I worked with Issac Hayes fir 3 and a half years. I recorded with Curtis Mayfield and worked at his studio for around 10 years.

Solo entertainer $200-500
Two to three piece $400 -750
Four to eight piece $200 - $350 per musician.
