About
Goode Times Events is the next generation of event entertainment. Brothers in life and in entertainment, Bill and Richard Goode have been event DJs, movie hosts, photobooth hosts, and event coordinators for a disparate many companies since igniting their entertainment passions in high school. Combining the best event technology and the sharpest creative minds in the business, Goode Times Events is the company of choice for your Master of Ceremonies, DJ, Photobooth, lighting, karaoke, movie nights, video playback, event coordination, and event design ideas to wow your guests and you!
Since we started out in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, doing college parties and beach bars, we have played up and down the east coast from Key West to Boston. I built my chops pulling double-duty in New York City as the events and promotion director for WFAS Radio in White Plains, NY and as a major party DJ in Westchester. Richard kept playing events in the south and growing a loyal following. Along the way, I started to stack up companies like firewood. There was Pasadena Productions in Florida and New York, A Celebration with Music!, Peachy’ s Portable Drive-In, the Atlanta Music Exchange, Bill Goode Freelance Services, and Goode Times Photobooth. All hyper-served the client but diluted what we are. We are Celebration Specialists first, using our skills and technology to bring a fabulous experience to your event and wow everyone who comes in as an invited guest!
Goode Times Events defines us and what we do. First, my name is on the company – Goode. The buck stops with me. I’m putting myself out there on your behalf. The name advises what we do – Bring Goode Times to your event, which we consider several steps above excellent and many above awesome. The name describes our passion – Events. Your event is our passion!
The mission of Goode Times Events is to act on behalf of you, the host, to bring family, friends, and guests together for good times at a life event to create everlasting, positive memories for all.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It depends on the customer. We can meet in person, over Zoom, or on the phone to see if we are part of your event vision. Once done and the contract is requested, we send it over via email and it is E-signed, and a credit card secures the deposit. We then get to work with online tools and personal guidance to plan a magical event!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Been doing this since 1984. Started in Ft. Lauderdale/Miami, moved to New York City and spent time doing events in the biggest party place on earth, then settled in Atlanta! We still travel to cover events for special clients, and travel all over the southeast to bring the best to you!
I also have a degree in Communications, which led to work in radio and TV, planning very big and visible events.
I have been a presenter and an attendee at Mobile Beat, the largest DJ conference in the world.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do, and the details are on the website. Wedding packages start at $995, with discounts for Fash users!
How did you get started in this business?
It's a long and funny story that involves my high school, a lack of planned entertainment, and an opportunity that presented itself.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with anyone who wants to work with me. We have worked with famous people, people who needed complete privacy, those who need help planning it all, those who just want us to show up and make the magic happen, but we work with anyone who wants lifelong, positive memories of milestone life events!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There are many, but the last two outdoor events in the north Georgia mountains come to mind. :)
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Check references and please meet them for a cup of coffee. Ensure the person is someone you can trust to make your event fun and memorable!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Think about the types of music their guests would appreciate. This is a day of inclusiveness, and playing "out there" music might intimidate your guests.
Discuss the order of events, and make sure all of the vendors are in agreement. You do not want to delay the party, but your photographer needs time for shots, the caterer needs time to prep and plate the food, even the coordinator needs to make sure everyone is on the same page with your needs and when they should happen!
