Hello my name is Tasha I been in the industry for over 26 years I am considered a seasoned stylist. This industry has lead me down many avenues. Competitions, hair shows, movie sets of Stars and The Quad, hair distributor etc. I am a caring stylist that has the clients interest at heart and I listen to better understand their needs. I do all types of hair and hair styles but I favor short cuts and color.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All new clients must recieve either a deep conditioner or protein treatment their very first visit at the advice of the professional. This is done to ensure the integrity of your hair from things the client or previous hair professional may have done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken serveral continuing education classes and i do this to ensure i am able to deliver the latest trends and styles as well as health related classes with concern of hair growth and diseases of the scalp.

How did you get started in this business?
I started braiding hair at the age of 14 I had a clientele of family and friends so I decided to pursue my passion by age 16 I was a stylist servicing in a salon part-time.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with customers just like yourself, and celebrities. This business has blessed me and has taken me many places.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Servicing for Survivors was an opportunity for me to service beautiful women that survived Breast Cancer.
Hosea Feed the Hungry we offered free services to the homeless during Thanksgiving.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask questions about products, practices, prices, availability etc. Remember a great professional is always prepared for a consultation.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What is the ultimate goal for your hair. If you're looking to recieve a color service have an idea of at least 2 colors you may like to try. Always know when your last chemical service was done ALWAYS BE HONEST or it may put your hair at risk.
