I have 10+ years in catering and BBQ Services.
We utilize fixed pricing: This is the most common pricing system for catering. With fixed pricing, you set a price per person or per plate, and that price is the same regardless of the number of guests. This system is easy to understand and budget for, and it can be a good option for smaller events.
Working the Farmer's Markets and serving the people when the taste the food you start to get a lot of questions about cooking for them.
Most of my clients are from the Markets and have already tasted the food and want us to come to cater their events.
I love Farmer's Markets, I enjoy the interaction with the people. We do weekly markets in Tinely Park and The Beverly's Farmers Market in Chicago.
The best thing is to call and have a conversation. As long as you know how many people we can generally work it out from there.
