Dona Murphy has been a Tarot practitioner for over 50 years and began offering her services via the Internet in 1998. She developed Destiny Tarot® as a style and philosophy of Tarot reading for empowering and providing deep insight to her clients.
Using her natural psychic and intuitive gifts plus her real-world experience – a degree from Northwestern University and a twenty-year career in the field of Human Resources management – she helps her clients solve problems and create better personal and professional lives through spiritual development and self-awareness.

How did you get started in this business?
Began studying and reading Tarot at age 14.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with women and men of all ages (18+) and have read on love/relationships, financial and career, any aspect of life and life transitions - changing jobs, marriage, divorce, moving/relocating, family dynamics, personal growth.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently read at a holiday party of about 100 people hosted by a downtown Chicago architectural and engineering firm. A great group of people, a fun, relaxed atmosphere and Tarot - the perfect evening!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Talk to your reader about your expectations and any previous experiences you may have had (positive or not). And please - be careful of so-called readers offering to rid you of "negative energy", "spells, hexes or workings against you by unknown others", candle-burning, prayers, or money-cleansing. All of these are common scams used to scare you into spending large sums of money. They prey on the vulnerability of people looking for genuine guidance. I hope you choose me - but if you don't, please choose wisely and well.
