Yogini Gini
About
I actually am developing a program that combines Tarot, Reiki and Yoga Therapy. I have been reading Tarot cards since 1986 and within the last ten years have added Lenormand readings. I like to use the Tarot to help clients think through situations in their lives, which is why I read Tarot for myself :) I taught special education for 17 years and hold a master's degree in data analytics and management. I am a voracious reader, live with my plants and my cat Murphy, and do Yoga.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have experience in reading Tarot and Lenormand and as a life coach can help you explore all the possibilities around certain decisions, choices, and life paths you wish to take. I am not a therapist and I like the client to be involved in the reading process. I don't just take a question and email you a reading- this is an interactive process and I am only a facilitator or guide. I hope I can empower people to be able to use Tarot themselves- and also try Reiki and Yoga.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am completing a 500 yoga teacher training to become certified/registered and a certified Pilates teacher course. I am a Usui Reiki Master and I have been reading Tarot cards since 1986, I am self-taught. I do hold a bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences and Mathematics, a master's degree in special education and a master's degree in project management and data analytics. My passion is Yoga and helping people.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $25 an hour (one hour minimum) for a Tarot Reading. I do not charge for distance Reiki healing; you merely need to ask and yes, I do animals too. I charge $30 per Reiki session. I am currently working out packages for clients who wish more and I am also working on subscription services that incorporate meditation, mindfulness, Yoga, self-Reiki, art, and Tarot. I am designing my own Tarot cards.
How did you get started in this business?
We all visited a New Age Crystal shop in 1986 and I ended up buying a Rider Waite Tarot deck and an incredibly obscure book on how to read them. I primarily learned by trial and error (ever read the Pictorial Key to the Tarot? It's not easy) and later, as "New Age" and Tarot became more mainstream, I studied Rachel Pollocks 78 degrees of wisdom and took a formal tarot coaching class on Udemy. I have since taken numerous professional reading courses and have practiced nearly daily. I have read professionally on and off throughout the years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly women, though I am not sure why. Tarot isn't all woo woo- it is based on human psychology and neurology. Our brains, our consciousness, picks up a lot more than we realize and in society now it is much harder to read the subtle information we have picked up amid all the noise from technology. So, Tarot is appropriate for men and women of any age. However, I do not read for anyone under the age of 18.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Chat with the Tarot reader because we all have different methods and philosophies. I am more metaphysical and can easily combine spiritual or "supernatural" phenomena with science, particularly when you study quantum physics, astronomy (not just astrology) and mathematics. Our brains are hard wired to pick up patterns- my Tarot readings are interactive: what the client sees and what I see may be different and I like to discuss that with my clients. However, I have friends that call on Spirit (however that is defined) when they do readings and believe that it is a supernatural technique. It just depends on what you feel most comfortable with.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Avoid yes and no questions. Will she marry me? Ask her, don't pay me $25! The better question would be what do I need to know about asking Sally to marry me? Another thing is the future is not set in stone; we are born with free will just as every other being on this planet and there is uncertainity inherent in the human material world. When discussing a reading you really need to understand how each decision you make affects yourself and others. The point is to be able to make the best possible decision-given the situation and taking into account the uncertainity that exists.
