What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask questions to better understand the needs that need to be met and ask basic information. Offer a tasting so they can taste flavors i provide. I will ask for dates and quantity of servings needed and give quote based on design, servings and detail.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught cake maker/decorator. I have been making cakes for 4 yrs and am opening my cake shop in March.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Every cake is different so it is hard to give a set price. Servings typically start at $2.50 a serving for buttercream. For fondant covered it starts at $3.25. Please keep in mind the more tieres and details that are involved in your order will add to your final total.
