Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When meeting a customer for the first time, I like to welcome them into my studio and chit chat with them about their hair dreams! I like to have an in-depth conversation about your likes and dislikes about your current hair, how your treat your hair fail & products you use to determine how we will make your goals a reality! I always want to be upfront and honest about what will and will not work for your specific hair type. And above all integrity of your hair is the most important!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always continuing my education when ever the opportunity arises. I am certified in Cinderella extensions, as well as hot heads. I'm a certified Lash artist, (lifting & tinting) I am a duel licensed in Mass & NH. I am a trained barber. I have multiple bar ice certificates. I attended a master class (selected out of hundreds of other stylist) in California in 2019, observing and being trained by celebrity stylist Rafe Hearty. I am a certified level 3 master colorist and also hold certificates in Keratin services.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I attend and participate in many country wide hair shows, most recently in March I attended the BehindTheChair anniversary event in NYC, always continuing my education and learning the newest techniques is so important to me as a stylist to continue to grow.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Shop around, please check out the work of local hair artists. Go in for a consolation before booking your appointment and be open to hearing your stylists ideas. After all this is what we do for a living!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
First and foremost is this achievable for your lifestyle! Be honest about your hair history, if you have hair past your collarbone it may be as old as 7 years, so try and think back that far to what you've done! Make sure your are upfront about your routine to make sure it fits your lifestyle!
