What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally I send information on my programs which includes instructions on how they can get back to me to discuss the needs of their event(s).
Once I learn the specifics, I generally offer a choice of entertainment and/or inspirational speaking packages designed to meet the customer's specific needs and requirements. Once the customer chooses a package and is ready to confirm, I send a simple agreement.
I also often work with the customer to give suggestions on getting the best results for their event, including assisting with coordinating with the venue.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Corporations, colleges, schools, associations, non-profit organizations, community groups, private individuals, etc., etc.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Don't let cost be your only determining factor. Look at the pro's background experience and results they've gotten for customers with events similar to your own.
