Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I need to find out what product (if any) is currently on their nails. Next, I find out what their goal is for how they want their nails to look and I explain what steps are necessary to accomplish that goal according to how much time and money they wish to invest.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a licensed manicurist since 1992. I was trained extensively by Aveda, CND and OPI. I took an intensive training in 1997 to become an educator for OPI. I am licensed in 2 states. I was personally trained by and have worked with the owners of Famous Names and I am one of only a handful of techs in the Las Vegas valley currently using their patented IBX nail strengthener. I have also been a QSCA certified life coach since 2018.

How did you get started in this business?
That is an interesting story that I would love to tell you in person! :)
What types of customers have you worked with?
Conservative clients who have time to relax and chat are my biggest fans. My average client is female between 45-70 years old. However, in my not so humble past as a former employee of the Rock Spa at the Hard Rock Hotel and Beauty Bar, I have done the nails of celebrities such as Kelly Osbourne, Kip Winger and Judas Priest drummer Scott Travis as well as Victoria's Secret and Conde Nast Traveler models. I've had a rich 30 years in this industry!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
You get what you pay for!
You will one day regret "cheap & fast" services.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
How committed are you to your nailcare, considering both your time and money?
