I met DJ Snow in January of 2019. Eric helped us walk our venue for our gala at World Market Center and gave us free advice that was priceless in setting up our event. We did not use him in February. This all from his heart! However we did use him at our Cinderellas closet event!We had a huge turn out for our fashion show at Macy's in August! Everything circled around the sound, the set up, the visuals, the equipment and putting together the playlist for the models, the entertainers speaking from Opera to MCs! He showed up on television to help us with getting the word out he wS on time for everything and had non profit fees! This man is a professional he cares about community children and building relationships. I love conscious capitalist and caring professionals! So amazing to see DJ Snow at a private estate holiday party here in Las Vegas! Being in the event industry for 10 years, I was intrigued to find such an accomplished event DJ that I did not know! DJing for Andrew Yang was fun. He's a great guy. I have been doing a lot of events to help first responders lately--those are very satisfying and it feels good when you make a difference in people's lives.
Research who you hire. There's a lot of fly by night guys who really don't know what's involved with "doing an event" and "doing an event right".
References are KEY. Web search them and see what pops up. That shows history and longevity. Also, never hire someone without a website. If they are that lazy--you don't want them!
1. Things you want to achieve or happen through out the event.
2. How you want the overall VIBE to be.
3. Know your time frame and where you are holding the event. You can't expect a guy to charge the same who has to drive (or fly) to another state or town--or somewhere thats hours away. Also, make sure they are prepared. We bring all of our own tables, power cords and accessories.
4. Insurance. Especially if you are in Vegas. Some places won't let a DJ play if they don't have a business license or an insurance rider. Especially the larger casinos. So always ask. We can send a custom digital rider to you within 24-48 hours upon request.
