Hedo Moté is a DJ, Audio Visual Tech and Event Curator with African roots based in Brooklyn, NY. Providing music and DJ services for parties, nightlife, private events, creative events, and special occasions. The focus is on reading the room, understanding the crowd, and creating experiences that are unforgettable.
From Top 40, Hip Hop, Trap, R&B, Latin, Afrobeats, Caribean, House, and various global sounds; Hedo Moté brings versatility and personality to every set. Whether it’s setting the tone, keeping the energy high, or taking the night in a completely different direction, the goal is create a good vibes and memories.
I have worked behind the scenes on fashion shows for Brooklyn Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, and independent fashion brands, supporting everything from lighting and speaker setup to playlist curation and overall show production. I’ve also assisted with backstage and on-site operations, helping coordinate moving parts and troubleshoot issues to keep shows running smoothly from start to finish.
Beyond fashion, I’ve curated and helped produce events in collaboration with creators, tastemakers, startups, and businesses. My role has included coordinating event logistics, setting up equipment and spaces, communicating with collaborators, engaging with guests on the mic, and helping bring the overall vision of an event to life.
