Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to get all pertinent info & to make it an unforgettable experience for the client. I make sure to ask a lot of questions so there's no hiccups the day of the event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I minored in English & Psychology in college. I have been studying the Art of Magic since I was 6 years old.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I usually charge accordingly based on how far the event is, what I'll be doing, & how long my performance is.
How did you get started in this business?
I saw David Copperfield on TV when I was 5 years old & never stopped learning after I was bit by the "magic bug."
What types of customers have you worked with?
All kinds.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I did an event recently where I was asked to do an hour of walkaround magic alongside one of many protégés & then close the evening by performing a 10 min stage act which culminated with me predicting the total number on a calculator, which a few spectators, after inputting random numbers & multiplying them together arrived at. As a grand finale, the huge number was turned upside down & it transformed into the corporation name that I was performing for!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Please make sure you hire a true professional that has many years under their belt, and not a high school kid that learned a few tricks from YouTube!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What kind of entertainment are they looking for? What's the theme of the event? What mood are they trying to achieve.
