As a nail educator and celebrity nail technician, I practice high sanitation for years before the start of the pandemic by having one time use of files and disposables per client, use autoclaved metal tools, and use a top-of-the-line Exhaust machine and the best nail products for beautiful results and safety. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A brief client consultation must be the first process in order to know how to help her with her beauty needs. The client's profession is considered to understand her situation and her personality must be felt to make suggestions for her style. Of course the nails must be in good health for me to proceed to her beauty needs first. I never work on nails that needs a doctors attention. I stay within the scope of my practice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I educate myself through my industries magazines to abreast myself of the latest events and products. I have competed in nail competitions in the past, I currently work as a celebrity Manicurist, I work New York fashion week, I am currently a product educator training other nail professionals as well as to get my own training from various professionals every year. I was one of those nail professionals that start trends and not follow them.
