What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Consultations are needed for extensions. By phone or online to assess your hair goals and needs. An appointment is made after this step. A full consultation on appointment day prior to services. We discuss lifestyle, product choices and schedule future appointments so you can maintain your new look.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Licensed for 25 years as a cosmetologist. Multiple color lines have been certified. Textured and curly hair experience from many years of in salon training and at home. Extensions have progressed over the years and I learn new techniques all the time.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Most of prices are a "start at" rate. Each individual client may require more or less than another. All pricing will be discussed at consultation, the client must approve of the service.
How did you get started in this business?
Started at teenage years in cosmetology school. Then Went to study at The Dudley Academy and started working as a shampoo girl. Always had a passion for curly textures and loved adding extensions. Now I specialize in color and extensions for all textures of hair.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have been so fortunate to work with people from all over the world. Including France, India, Africa, Soth Africa, and Japan. It is very interesting to find that HAIR IS THE SAME and people just want to feel good.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Talk to a cople of stylists and ask good questions. For example: How long have you done...? What happens if I don't like the outcome? What type of mainenance is required?
Know your budget, time for care, and level of maintenance you are comfortable with.
