Jack’s been working with my hair for more than a decade! Not a haircut/color goes past without friends and strangers complimenting me on my hair.

Q & A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Do a full consultation about what they like and dislike about their hair.  Then a facial analysis to check the symetry of their facial bone structure, and then look at the design we think that might work along with the cut and style that they are looking for.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We've been in the Beauty Industry for almost forty years, things change and to be on top of your game you need to change with them.  Form Sassoon's cutting style's to Toni & Guy's and every-other form of haircutting forms and technique's out there we stay up to date.  Not only are we familiar we all and more of this styles and technique's we've both been educator's for major manufactures and have taught domestically and Internationally. And Jack still travels the world  working and sharing his love for the Industry with #NeumaBeauty #jackrsandersartist.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

It depends on exacately what we do, everything on our price list is ala-chart. www.techartsalon.com

How did you get started in this business?

Coming out of Art School it seemed like the best fit for me, (Jack) and Kris started beauty school right after a couple of years of working non-fun jobs.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Most of my-guest that come into the salon, let me have my way with their hair.  However there are those who have a specific look that there going for, so we try to find the easiest way for that guest to look their best with that fashion statement. Today's market is no-different then it was 10 years ago only the Colour has change.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Just finished up a Training for Neuma Corp Regional and Design Team Members in Newport Beach, Ca which was held for 3 full days.  Incredible group of talented individuals from all over the Northern Continent of America, working on cutting fundamentals and advance styling technique's.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Anyone can cut your hair! However it takes special skills to be able to put volume and shape and design that not only works but looks flattering to your facial shape and the desired lenght that makes the whole package look incredible.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

If they see a photo of a "Celebrity" will that hair style work for me and look great on me, "Can I pull that off". U can wear anything within reason, it just has to be tailored for your personally.
