I love to make people smile. I love to evoke intense, positive emotions in other people. Magic enables me to do this.
If someone starts to watch my magic and they are thinking, "how does she do that?" and they continue to think this same thought throughout my performance, than this is not magic. This is a puzzle.
For me, I guide the people I'm connecting with through a journey of emotion and expectation that culminates in a sense of wonder, surrounded by joy. Sure, they'll go home and wonder how the magic happened, but they'll also remember how good they felt. That's the goal, and it's what I love about being a magician.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work to understand the client's vision for their event so that I can provide the best possible service, specific to their needs, to help them to host an amazing party, reception, or whatever their event may be.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've performed magic since I was 7 years old, but I didn't really understand the art of performance until I developed a street theater show in my early twenties, in which I would perform a twenty minute show up to 20 times in a single day, day after day. That type of flight time launched my entertainment abilities.
For the art of magic, there can be no better training ground than taking the craft back to where it originated, in the open air markets. I consider that collection of experiences to be my best training.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is dynamic. It is dependent on the type of event, the number of guests, and length of performance.
How did you get started in this business?
I've been a magician all of my life. I performed stage shows in my youth and then worked as a restaurant and bar magician in my early twenties. After that I toured with a street theater show, performing in the likes of Burlington, VT; Provincetown on Cape Cod; Ocean City Maryland; and the French Quarter of New Orleans.
As a street theater magician, I was often approached after my show by people who wanted to hire me for private events. This is when I fell in love with helping people to throw awesome parties by using mind shattering magic to elevate the fun factor, break the ice for all those who need it, and to just show people how awesome THEY are by doing magic with them (rather than just in front of them).
What types of customers have you worked with?
I predominantly work private events for the general public.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
If at all possible, watch performance footage of the magician you intend to hire. Note how their performance makes you feel. Does their performance fill you with joy and positive feelings or are you busy trying to figure out magical "puzzles."
A great magician will make you feel wonderful. That's how you should want your event guests to feel. Find a magician who can do that.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What kind of magic best fits your vision for your event? Do you want someone who is mysterious? Someone who is fun? It wouldn't be a bad idea to ask the magician to talk about their character.
Some magicians focus on the tricks, but this creates a shallow experience. The magician should focus on the entire human experience, the connection between the magician and the spectators. Ask the magician to talk about how they create a complete entertainment experience.
